Looped Walks

Inishturk probably gets most of its visitors for its famed looped walks. Dozens of walking groups and thousands of individual walkers come annually to take in the breath-taking scenery and island heritage on both of these loops.

We have two looped walks, with the second loop, Mountain Common loop being a spur from the Lough Coolaknick loop.

For both of our looped walks, we recommend all-weather clothing, snacks & fluids.

Please click the links below for loop details, maps & brochures.

The shorter Lough Coolaknick loop is an entirely paved/gravel path whilst the Mountain Common Loop is a spur off Lough Coolaknick, to take in the magnificent cliffs & sea stacks.
