I grew up on Inishturk, a place that will always be home to me. Being able to now share that same special connection with my own children, and to hear them talk about and experience the island I love so much, is something I am incredibly proud of.
Having spent my childhood on Inishturk and my adult life returning whenever possible, I have seen many changes over the years — some wonderful and positive, and others understandably concerning for the community. With that in mind, I am always happy to support committees and community initiatives that work towards a sustainable future for Inishturk, so that our families, friends, and future generations can continue to enjoy this unique and special place for many years to come.
Growing up being part of this amazing community, i now love organising and planning events that bring both visitors and the people that make inishturk special together, creating opportunities for young and old alike to connect, celebrate, and enjoy everything that makes Inishturk “The most beautiful of islands”..
